The Stakefield team’s knowledge of the IT market as well as the rapport they had built with the Director of IT proved to be critical in their ability to outline a strategy that educated the client on the best possible strategy to employ for a successful project delivery.

The team established a streamlined interview process which allowed the client to select prospective candidates for both types of roles on a rolling basis, while simultaneously pre-scheduling the most qualified professionals together for interviews with the client.

As the project’s requirements called for a highly niche skill set, the collective technical knowledge among the Stakefield team was instrumental in identifying the most qualified candidates throughout the process. They were able to successfully test the candidates’ ability to communicate various aspects of Datacenter Operations throughout all stages

About the Project

The client, a multi-billion dollar telecom provider headquartered in Germany, was in search of a partner who could support their efforts to overhaul their IT systems of their data center through contract based employment.

With little ramp up time, the client required a team of seasoned Build Engineers (Server & Database) that would be able to complete the project, which was slated to be long term assignment from conception to completion. Additionally, some professionals hired for this project would need to work onsite throughout the duration of the project, which proved to be a difficult staffing assignment as most contractors with quality experience typically work remotely on a project-toproject basis

With this in mind, the client sought an agency that they could trust, to outline a cost-effective recruitment strategy that would set the project up for successful delivery. Hence, the Stakefield team was roped in.

The Challenge
